It’s Okay

I just wanted to let you all know today that it is okay. It is okay to be happy for yourself. It is okay to take care of yourself. If you accomplish something, it is okay to brag on yourself real quick. Boost yourself up girl because why not? Love yourself and hype yourself up, be your best hype man!

It’s okay…

To have off days. Sometimes we just be having “one of them days”. Them days can consist of not wanting to be bothered, or you are just down, or your mood swings are just high that day. It’s okay though, we all have one of them days. Just find your own way to get through it and do not take it into the next day.

It’s okay…

To be sad. We are going to be sad sometimes and it’s okay. It’s better to express it, than to hold it in and to fight it.

It’s okay…

To be happy. Girl! If you don’t pay attention to anything I say in this post, please pay attention to this. It is okay to be happy. You do not have to stay miserable, go find your joy. Don’t let anyone tell you that you are too happy. You can never be too happy. Do not let anyone bitterness steal your joy. You do not find your joy and happiness in others, it has to be in you.

It’s okay

To be proud & it’s okay to celebrate yourself. If nobody else is proud of you, make sure you are proud of yourself. Remind yourself that you have accomplished great things and you don’t need anyone validations. Celebrate your small and big accomplishments because YOU DID THAT!

It’s okay…

To relax. It’s okay to take time for yourself and relax. You do not have to be on the go all the time, you step away from the work and school life for one day or for a hour. Have a day for yourself and enjoy yourself. Remember relaxing does not equal lazy, you are taking care of yourself.

It’s okay…

To want space. I cannot stress this enough, it is okay to want our own space. This can mean you want to be alone sometimes and just want to stay to yourself. Or you just need the time for yourself and time to work things out into your life. Wanting your own space does not mean shutting your friends out though, you can want your space and not go completely MIA at the same time.

It’s okay…

To not to want to talk. If you do not want to talk, you do not have to. Do not let anyone make you feel bad because you don’t want to express yourself right then and there. But, it is not okay to hold on everything in, eventually you are going to have to let it out. Whether you let it out by talking to someone you trust, God, or just journaling. It’s okay to have your quiet days when you just want to be mute. It be like that sometimes where we just do not feel like saying anything and it is okay.

It’s okay

To fail. Failing is apart of life. We all going to fail numerous of times, people may front and act like they don’t, but do not let them fool you sis. Just know you are not failing by yourself, we are in this together. Just know each time you fail, you are getting closer to an accomplishment.

It’s okay…

To not have it all figure out yet. There are just somethings we are not going to have figured out and it is okay. Also, know it is okay to ask for help if you need it. It is okay if you not have a set plan for your life, what

It’s okay…

To start over. It’s okay if you did not get it right the first time. If you get another chance, take it because it is okay to start over sometimes. Don’t think you are behind if you have to start over, you are exactly where YOU supposed to be.

It’s okay…

To be different. You are meant to be different. We are not supposed to have the same path and journey as someone else. We have our own unique life, it’s supposed to be different from others. Being different means you have own life and something unique about yourself that nobody else has. Don’t get caught up into social media and all the hype, it is okay they have reached their goal first. It was just their time, yours is coming.

It’s okay…

To heal. Healing is apart of your journey. At some point of your life you are going to have to heal from somethings and it is okay. Do not try to fight the healing process. The healing process is necessary to move forward in your life and it is okay if it takes a while. This is not a process to rush, so take as much time as you need.

It’s okay…

If they do not understand. Some people are just not going to understand and IT IS OKAY. Most of the time if they don’t understand, then it wasn’t meant for them to understand. Some things are only meant for you to understand and it is not anyone’s business.

It is okay sis, you are going to get through anything because you are not put into situations that you cannot handle. I cannot tell you exactly what to do to get through any problems you are facing, but I can tell you to do only what you can do. Do not try to do more than what you cannot handle. Everything will eventually fall in place if you let it.
