Sometimes we may feel like we have to rush our dreams and goals as if they were going away or because we running out of time . Social media, our environment, our family, friends, etc. plays a role in thinking we have a time limit on achieving our goals. But we have to remember our paths are different, so our timing will be different from others. Our dreams and goals are not going anywhere and everything that is supposed to happen will happen at its given time.

We also have to remember slow progress is progress, even when we feel like we are not making any progress. You are continuously working hard, trust me your are making progress. Trying to rush the process only adds extra stress on your life because you are rushing something that takes time and patience. Also, rushing may lead you to taking shortcuts and while they may get you somewhere, but after a while it could lead you back to square one. Some people have gotten away with it, but sometimes you may get humbled back into the same position you were already in.

There are people who are going to reach different milestones in their life before you and that’s okay because it was their time. You may feel you’re behind, but remember this is your own journey, not theirs, so you are never behind. You are right where you are supposed to be. You are not missing out on anything that you are not supposed to see. We have to keep reminding ourselves of this, including myself. But lately, I had to learn to just live in the moment and take every step of life at time. I learn that I’m not running out of time, so there is no need to rush my life.

Enjoy life for what it is right now, don’t let any moment of your life be wasted. Celebrate the progress you have made or the accomplishments you are making in the moment. Remember, “Everything that is for me, will be given to me at it’s given time!”
